Description
The Masking Department Technician performs masking and racking duties for chemical processes and paint applications using tape, liquid maskants, and other materials. The role supports safety, quality, throughput, and Lean continuous improvement; interprets work orders, drawings, and customer specifications; troubleshoots masking materials; creates and maintains masking aids; and provides technical support to other departments. The position requires basic Microsoft Office skills, mathematical ability, blueprint and specification interpretation, troubleshooting, teamwork, communication, adaptability, and willingness to work extended hours and overtime.
