Description
The role is an apprentice-level masonry helper assisting supervisors and masons with constructing masonry, stone, concrete, and cement structures; laying cement blocks and bricks; forming, placing, finishing, and repairing concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks; transporting workers and materials by truck; and following safety procedures. The position requires six months of verifiable concrete finishing and form-building experience, a driver's license, and the ability to obtain a Class B commercial driver's license valid for air brakes within 90 days of appointment. It involves significant walking, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, and heavy lifting.
