Description
The Swedish Maritime Administration is hiring a permanent Master/Waterway Technician for its Waterway Operations Unit, based in Kalix or Luleå. The role operates a fairway boat and crew, inspects and maintains aids to navigation, manages work orders in CCOM and IFS, leads the work group, and coordinates with the Shipping Company. It requires a Marine Engineer Class VIII qualification, a valid Ship’s Officer Class VI certificate, STCW and ROC certificates, an unrestricted seafarer medical certificate, ship or boat maintenance experience, computer-system experience, and a Class B driving licence. The position involves frequent travel, possible overnight stays, job rotation, and may require Swedish citizenship and a security clearance.
