Description
The Master Plumber performs skilled plumbing work in school district buildings and facilities, including installing and repairing fixtures, water, gas, and sewer lines; testing backflow preventers and sprinkler systems; locating and repairing leaks; and maintaining gas appliances. The role also handles plumbing and gas permits, plans and estimates work projects, reviews plans and work orders, maintains records, and may supervise employees. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a Master Plumber License, a valid Texas driver's license, at least five years of plumber experience including commercial experience, and the ability to obtain a reasonable Master Plumber License once hired.
