Description
Magna Electronics is hiring one student for a 30-credit Master's thesis project focused on developing and evaluating a methodology for recommending optimized test strategies and operating conditions for automotive Electronic Control Unit (ECU) fault detection. The project analyzes ECU design characteristics, component technologies, circuit functions, historical failure mechanisms, and test conditions to identify relationships and validate an approach using real ECU designs and historical failure cases. The student will collaborate with subject-matter experts and produce a methodology, key design parameters, recommended test scenarios, validation results, and recommendations for Magna's verification processes. Applicants should be pursuing a Master's degree in a relevant engineering or data science field, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently and communicate effectively in English.
