Ericsson Research is seeking one or two students for a six-month research project in Stockholm (Kista), Sweden, beginning in January or February 2027. The project compares digital compute-in-memory architectures with conventional accelerators for a selected radio access network workload, covering architecture design, functional and RTL or FPGA modelling, performance evaluation, scalability, quantisation, and accuracy analysis. Applicants should be pursuing a relevant Master's degree and have strong analytical, problem-solving, technical-writing, and communication skills; FPGA, RTL, modelling, fixed-point, and hardware-acceleration experience are advantageous.
