Master Thesis: Integrating Quantum-Computing with Classical Compute for Telecom at SAP

Ericsson Research is seeking one MSc student to conduct a six-month thesis on quantum computing for radio access network (RAN) workloads. The project involves reviewing quantum algorithms, selecting a representative RAN use case, preparing experimental data, implementing conventional baselines, developing and validating a quantum computing architecture, evaluating performance, assessing hardware suitability, and documenting results. The work is expected to start in January 2027 and is based at Ericsson Research in Stockholm (Kista), Sweden.
