Ericsson is seeking one MSc student to conduct a six-month quantum computing research thesis focused on RAN workloads. The project involves reviewing quantum algorithms, selecting a representative use case, preparing experimental data, implementing baselines, developing and validating a quantum computing architecture, assessing hardware suitability, and documenting results. The work is expected to start in January 2027 at Ericsson Research in Stockholm (Kista), Sweden.
