Description
Husqvarna Construction is hiring two master's thesis students to develop and evaluate a machine-data-driven compaction indicator for forward and reversible vibratory plate compactors. The work involves studying existing compaction indicators, selecting sensors and machine parameters, instrumenting compactors, collecting data across varying soil conditions and pass counts, analyzing patterns, and establishing a methodology for a data-driven compaction indicator. The thesis is at the master's level (30 ECTS points), starts in January 2027, and is based in Jonsered, Sweden.
