The role involves analyzing sensor and flight-test data, developing and validating machine-learning and state-estimation approaches in simulation and prototyping, comparing them with model-based methods, integrating promising concepts into the navigation framework, and documenting results for the Master's thesis. Candidates should be studying a relevant technical discipline and have practical experience in machine learning, data analysis, signal processing, state estimation, or autonomous systems.
