Description

Counseling4Kids is hiring a full-time MAT Assessor Therapist to provide specialty mental health services to infants, young children, and families in Service Area 2, Service Area 8, and/or Santa Clarita. The role includes in-office, in-home, and school-based assessments, trauma-informed treatment, documentation in EXYM, crisis management, treatment planning, and coordination with child and family teams. Candidates need a relevant master’s degree, current California Board of Behavioral Sciences registration, at least one year of experience with children and families, and the ability to travel during clinical hours.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Counseling
Required Previous Experiences: At least 1 year of experience working with children and families
Experience providing mental health services involving diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and therapy modalities
Experience, training, or strong interest working with birth-to-five clients presenting with trauma or disruptive behaviors
Preferred Qualifications: Current unrestricted LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC registration
At least 1 year of MAT-based services experience
DC: 0-5, ICARE, and other core B-5 MAT trainings
PCIT or Child-Parent Psychotherapy training or certification
Working toward Infant-Family Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist endorsement
At least 1 year of experience with the birth-to-five population
Bilingual English/Spanish
