Description
McAllister Towing of Baltimore is hiring a Mate to assist the Master in safely and efficiently operating a tug, manage towing and deck operations, navigate the vessel, conduct docking and undocking evolutions, supervise the Deck Department, and support crew well-being. The role requires current GMDSS, ARPA, Advanced Firefighting, First Aid/CPR, Merchant Mariner, STCW, TWIC, and USCG Medical credentials, plus tractor tug or Z-drive experience; several years as an Able-Bodied Seaman or Ordinary Seaman are preferred, as are Mate 1600 Gross Tons Towing/Oceans or Mate or Master of Towing qualifications.
