Description
The Material Expeditor/Planner supports manufacturing operations by coordinating the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments and ensuring production and shipping schedules are met. The role identifies and resolves material shortages, schedule delays, and departmental issues; communicates availability and schedule changes; maintains shortage lists; distributes electronic shortage reports; and substitutes for Production Control as needed. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, manufacturing material-flow knowledge, problem-solving and prioritization skills, computer proficiency, LECO quality training, and reliable attendance.
