Description
The role designs and builds plant material-flow and equipment-layout simulations, translates part-level logistics data into simulation inputs, analyzes bottlenecks and capacity constraints, develops AGV and AMR simulations, and presents recommendations to planning engineers and other stakeholders. It requires a bachelor’s degree in industrial, automotive, mechanical, or related engineering, typically 3 to 5 years of material-flow simulation, industrial engineering, or manufacturing planning experience, and proficiency with FlexSim or Plant Simulation (Tecnomatix), with C++ or Python programming skills.
