Description
The Material Handler pulls material from stock to fill sales orders, weighs or counts materials, records order information, packs goods for shipment, performs department clean-up, and operates cranes, high-lifts, and forklifts. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, one to three months of related experience or training, mechanical ability to operate a forklift or side loader, measuring-device literacy, basic math skills, computer knowledge, and the ability to work independently. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance, along with standing, sitting, stooping, and kneeling.
