SMS Staffing Inc. is hiring a Material Handler in North Chicago, Illinois for a temp-to-hire, second-shift role. The position handles, stores, labels, loads, and transports hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals; operates forklifts and powered pallet jacks; completes picking, cycle counts, inventories, paperwork, and safety procedures; and requires basic math, reading, and writing skills, at least two years of forklift experience, and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds. The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, and Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, with pay starting at $18.00 per hour depending on experience.
