Description
The Foundry Material Handler Level 1 supports foundry operations by handling, identifying, tracking, and inventory-controlling raw materials, remelt, and recovered product. The role maintains traceability records, enters material information into computer systems, operates forklifts and hand pallet jacks, troubleshoots routine issues, and assists with training less experienced handlers. It is an hourly, non-exempt position reporting to a Foundry Foreperson or Leadperson, with a preferred high school diploma, at least one year of relevant manufacturing or material-handling experience, and previous forklift experience.
