Description
The Material Handler is a frontline manufacturing support role responsible for safely and timely receiving, inspecting, transporting, staging, removing, and tracking raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods. The role uses pallet jacks, carts, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment; performs material counts; maintains safe and organized storage areas; follows manufacturing safety and quality procedures; and supports production schedules and lean initiatives. The position pays $19.00 to $25.00 per hour and is intended for someone with limited experience or education, with manufacturing, industrial, and forklift experience preferred.
