Description
The Material Handler oversees receipt, organization, movement, and distribution of materials on large construction projects. The role coordinates with superintendents, procurement, foremen, and other disciplines; stocks trailers, clam-shell boxes, cages, and work-package kits; signs deliveries; maintains inventory records and purchase-order balances; fulfills field material requests; and reports shortages, quality discrepancies, and logistics improvements. The position requires inventory management, strong communication, electrical-construction knowledge, forklift operation, and the ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments and lift 50 pounds. OSHA 10 and forklift licensing are provided after hiring.
