Description
The Material Handler loads and unloads steel products from trucks, conveyors, racks, and pallets; monitors material quality; documents and tracks shipments; verifies truck loads; and supports machine operators with die and raft changes. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, shipping and material-handling experience, knowledge of truck weight capacities, and familiarity with shipping practices. A high-volume production environment, forklift and overhead crane experience, and long-length material handling are preferred. The position is based in Salem, Oregon, pays an estimated $19.50 per hour, and includes medical, dental, and vision coverage.
