Description
The Warehouse Material Handler performs shipping, receiving, order picking, loading, unloading, and material movement in warehouse, yard, or work-site areas. The role operates forklifts, electric lifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, trailers, and curtain trailers; verifies shipments; picks and palletizes orders; secures cargo; records units; labels materials; and maintains safety, housekeeping, and inventory controls. A high school diploma or GED is required, forklift training is required, and six months of material-handling experience is preferred. The position involves frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of more than 100 pounds.
