Description
The Material Handler prepares, organizes, loads, unloads, and stages materials for production and shipment in a manufacturing and shipping environment. The role handles steel grating products, structural materials, hardware, and accessories; operates forklifts, overhead cranes, saws, and other equipment; assembles and packages shipping materials; maintains inventory and shipping documentation; and follows safety procedures. A high school diploma or GED is required, while manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience and equipment-operation experience are preferred.
