Description
The Material Handler operates forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials and products within a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include transporting raw materials and finished goods, emptying scrap bins, properly stacking and securing materials, entering shipping and receiving information, and complying with company policies and OSHA safety standards. The role requires a high school diploma or qualification, a valid forklift certificate, and 1–2 years of counterbalance forklift and material-handling equipment operation, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
