Description

Oatey is seeking a Material Handler to join their Cleveland Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various material handling functions, including putting away, replenishing, selecting, loading, and cycle-counting merchandise. This role supports the overall operation while ensuring safety, quality, and meeting performance goals. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of related work experience, computer literacy, and possess a Forklift Operator's Certificate.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Three to Five (3-5) years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications: Forklift operator certification/authorization required
Must be able to operate all types of material handling equipment in the facility including forklift, reach truck, walkie, stock picker, and loader
Excellent understanding of supply-chain logistics management and carrier routing requirements
Working knowledge of corporate safety program and emergency preparedness plans
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability problem solve and apply critical-thinking skills
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
