Description
The Materials Handler manages incoming and outgoing materials for production by receiving, inspecting, unloading, storing, staging, and replenishing raw materials and finished goods. The role uses ERP systems, operates lift trucks and crane hoists, supports cycle counts and production scheduling, and maintains safety and quality standards on the production floor. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with material-handling ability and basic measurement and arithmetic skills; prior steel or aluminum manufacturing experience is preferred. The position involves regular standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
