Description
The Material Handler reports to the Plant Manager and handles, moves, and stores materials in the weld and machine shop areas, with secondary assistance in the assembly area. Responsibilities include setting up weld stations, moving weldments and finished materials, coordinating with welders, machine shop leads, and procurement, maintaining inventory accuracy, verifying incoming shipments, and performing shop sanitation and forklift cleaning. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift or heavy machinery experience, proper industrial vehicle licensing, strong organization and communication skills, basic computer skills, and attention to safety. It is a full-time Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM position with health, dental, vision, 401-K, paid holidays, vacation, and sick time.
