Description
The Material Handler reports to the Plant Manager and handles, moves, and stores materials in the weld and machine shop areas, with secondary assistance in the assembly area. Responsibilities include setting up weld stations, moving weldments and large pipe and tube, coordinating with welders, machine shop operators, and procurement, maintaining inventory accuracy, verifying incoming shipments, and performing shop sanitation and recycling duties. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift or heavy machinery experience, proper industrial vehicle licensing, strong organization and communication skills, basic computer skills, and a strong safety focus. The position is full-time with a first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and a weekend shift from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
