Description
The Production Material Control Specialist monitors the flow of materials, components, tooling, and paperwork between departments to meet production schedules, coordinates with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and customers, expedites work, issues parts, and cuts materials to size. The role also operates forklifts and pallet jacks, reads work instructions, supports customer information requests, and contributes to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. It requires 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or GED, computer and communication skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to perform physical work involving lifting up to 40 pounds.
