BlueLinx is hiring a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for its distribution center. The role involves safely operating a forklift, loading and unloading trailers or rail cars, storing and retrieving building materials, preparing distribution paperwork, inspecting and maintaining equipment, maintaining work areas, and assisting with inventory counts. Applicants need one year or recent forklift/warehouse experience, the ability to safely operate a forklift and lift up to 75 pounds, and a safe work record. The position offers a fixed hourly wage, a Monday–Friday schedule, and medical, dental, vision, prescription, retirement, tuition, life insurance, paid time off, and company holidays.
