Description
First Solar is hiring a Material Handler I to safely and accurately receive, store, count, package, load, unload, transport, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and finished goods in warehouse, shipping dock, and manufacturing-support environments. The role requires forklift and other material-handling equipment operation, shipping and receiving, inventory cycle counting, RF scanner and warehouse-management-system use, Oracle inventory transactions, equipment inspections, and compliance with safety, EH&S, C-TPAT, and 5S procedures. A high school diploma or GED, one year of primary sit-down forklift experience within the past four years, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to meet physical and powered industrial vehicle requirements are required; warehouse or material-handling experience is preferred. The position is based in the United States, pays $18.00 hourly, reports to the Supervisor, Traffic/Material Handling, and has no travel requirements.
