Description
Veolia is hiring a Waste Handler to perform routine non-hazardous waste tasks involving the movement and handling of solids. The role includes breaking down cardboard and car parts, using a tugger or forklift to move cardboard, decontaminating and disposing of empty drums and containers, bagging plastic, performing housekeeping, inspecting material-handling equipment, and assisting with loading and unloading waste materials. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., with one Friday per month from 7:00 a.m. to noon. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and one to three years of warehouse, forklift, or tugger experience is required.
