Description
The Hazardous Waste Handler performs routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks, including loading and unloading containers, constructing and stacking boxes, using material-handling tools, transporting waste within facilities, decontaminating and disposing of empty containers, completing paperwork, and maintaining a safe work area. The role is performed under direct supervision and requires material-handling equipment training; a high school diploma or GED, prior hazardous-waste or chemical-industry experience, forklift proficiency, and 40-Hour HAZWOPER training are preferred. Compensation is $21 to $22 per hour, with health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, and other benefits.
