Description
The Material Handler receives, moves, stacks, records, and distributes building materials and supplies in a production environment. The role operates motorized and non-motorized material-handling equipment, plans and assigns work to other Material Handlers, and trains employees on handling techniques, machinery, and safety. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED plus four years of related experience or an equivalent combination, and must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds on occasion.
