Wabtec is hiring a Material Handler to load, unload, move, secure, count, label, and store materials in a plant, yard, or work site. The role includes operating industrial lift trucks and electric carts, assembling crates, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining a clean work area. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, tool-use ability, communication skills, and teamwork ability. The position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to fumes, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and loud noise. The entry hourly rate is $22.00 per hour, with health, welfare, and retirement benefits available.
