Description
The Material Handler prepares and packages materials for shipment, verifies quantities and shipping documentation, and loads and unloads trucks using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment. The role also stages materials, organizes the shipping area, protects products during transportation, communicates with drivers and the Shipping/Logistics team, and follows safety and PPE requirements in a manufacturing or industrial environment. A high school diploma or general education diploma, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, English communication, and flexibility for varied shifts are required; forklift experience and industrial or warehouse experience are preferred.
