Description
The Materials Manager oversees procurement, inventory, supply chain, warehouse, and production planning operations in a manufacturing environment. The role manages ERP and MRP systems, supplier relationships, demand planning, lean manufacturing improvements, logistics, and supply chain KPIs, while collaborating with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance teams. Required qualifications include ERP and supply chain software proficiency, procurement and contract management, inventory and production planning expertise, MRP experience, lean manufacturing knowledge, supplier negotiation skills, analytical and communication abilities, fluent English, and CPIM APICS certification; five years of manufacturing experience is also required.
