Description

Cummins - Meritor is hiring an onsite Material Planner in Gul Way, Singapore to balance material supply with production demand, manage supplier commitments and performance, resolve planning exceptions, optimize inventory, and support purchasing, quality, and customer delivery activities. The role requires 3–5 years of material planning, supply chain, or inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment, ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, advanced Excel and data analysis, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 3–5 years of material planning, supply chain, or inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong experience using ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP, for demand planning, materials scheduling, inventory control, and supplier management
Experience managing supplier performance, material shortages, and supply-demand balancing while supporting production requirements
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis, including tracking supply chain KPIs, inventory metrics, and planning parameters
Experience collaborating with Purchasing, Production, Operations, Quality, and Suppliers to drive continuous improvement, inventory optimization, and on-time delivery performance
Preferred Qualifications: College, university, or equivalent degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline
Experience in automotive, heavy equipment, manufacturing, or industrial sectors
Knowledge of PFEP, inventory optimization, engineering change management, and advanced planning systems
