Description
The Material Planner is responsible for overall fab material availability, including maintaining material requirements and inventory models, preventing line-down situations, meeting inventory turn targets, and optimizing materials. The role covers data integrity for BOMs, lead times, and safety stock; demand forecasting against production schedules; material usage, waste, and excess inventory improvement; and supplier lead-time, inventory, and warehouse-space optimization programs. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant supply chain, logistics, or operations field, 2–5 years of semiconductor industry experience, ERP/MRP and Microsoft Office expertise, and strong coordination, prioritization, and communication skills.
