Amphenol Military & Aerospace is hiring a Material Process Engineer in Whitstable to develop, control, and continuously improve electroplating and metal-finishing processes for aerospace and defence applications. The role involves process troubleshooting, PFMEA and documentation development, chemical and solution monitoring, new-product-introduction support, quality and environmental compliance, wastewater and hazardous-waste coordination, equipment support, and team mentoring. Candidates need a degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related scientific discipline, manufacturing or engineering experience, and knowledge of process control, quality management, GMP, COSHH, and chemical handling; electroplating, wastewater, NPI, aerospace, and team-lead experience are desirable.
