Coherent Corp. is hiring a Glass Machine Operator to prepare materials, record production data, and operate rotary surface grinders, spindle polishers, planetary polishers, and wire saws in a glass-manufacturing environment. The role includes routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, chemical handling, safety compliance, and shift work from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Sunday through Thursday, with training provided. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience are required; a strong math background is preferred. The position involves noisy, dirty, and potentially hazardous conditions, physical lifting, and possible overtime or off-shift work.
