Description
The Materials & Process Engineering Intern will support CCAM’s research programs by developing thermal spray-coating processes, preparing and characterizing materials specimens, analyzing microstructure and coatings, conducting experimental data analysis, and documenting research methods. The role requires academic coursework in materials, mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering, familiarity with metallography, microscopy, data analysis, additive manufacturing, surface engineering, machining, and Excel, with Python a plus. Candidates must be able to access technology or intellectual property subject to export control requirements without an export control license. The internship pays $24–$30 per hour depending on qualifications.
