Description
The Materials Associate manages the receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control, packaging, and distribution of raw materials, work in process, finished goods, and serviced products. The role performs material transactions in an MRP system, verifies shipments against purchase and sales orders, prepares shipping and hazardous-material documentation, operates warehouse equipment, conducts cycle counts, supports minor mechanical assembly, and applies Lean Manufacturing and continuous-improvement practices to improve inventory availability and reduce cycle times.
