Description
The Materials Development Project Leader will own international materials development programmes from early-stage research through scale-up, pre-production and launch. The role leads technical teams, suppliers and manufacturing partners across the UK, Europe, USA and Asia; defines project scope, timelines, budgets and deliverables; coordinates testing, engineering, supply chain and manufacturing activities; reviews experimental plans and technical data; troubleshoots material and process challenges; and balances performance, manufacturability, cost and timelines. The position is based in South London with a hybrid pattern requiring onsite work Tuesday through Thursday and remote work Monday and Friday, plus travel to China approximately once per quarter.
