Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a Lead Materials Engineer to lead materials and process activities for tactical hardware, coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams, review designs for compliance, develop qualification test plans, and recommend material and manufacturing changes. The role requires aerospace or related engineering experience, PMP expertise, technical leadership, corrosion-prevention knowledge, and experience evaluating designs against specified military and NASA standards. A Secret clearance and United States citizenship are required, while a bachelor’s degree and expertise in coatings, composites, and program reviews are desired. The full-time salary range is $161,300 to $299,500, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, and other benefits.
