MSS – Mattest Site Services is hiring a Site Technician in Spondon, Derby, to conduct on-site sampling and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt at construction and road surfacing sites. The role involves recording test results, coordinating with site teams, working day/night shifts and some weekends, travelling across the Midlands in a company van, and meeting safety requirements. Candidates should have experience in construction, materials testing, or a related technical environment, a full UK driving licence, and a CSCS card or willingness to obtain one. The salary is £29,000–£32,000 depending on experience, with a signing-on bonus, referral reward, company van, phone, tablet, training, and paid safety medical.
