Description
The Materials Handler processes, shelves, and organizes Douglas County Libraries’ collections, supports circulation, customer service, and clerical work, and operates automated materials-handling equipment. The role is variable part-time at approximately 19 hours per week, pays $15.34 to $19.13 per hour, and closes on 10/11/26 or until filled. Applicants must be at least 16 years old, follow instructions, learn library filing systems, and have basic Microsoft 365 or productivity software skills; one year of relevant experience and a high school diploma or GED are preferred. The position requires reliable transportation and the ability to perform physically demanding work across multiple library locations.
