The Materials Handler (Fork Lift Operator) Assistant Supervisor assigns, directs, and evaluates subordinate work; plans, schedules, coordinates, and resolves problems related to materials-handling operations; manages the unit’s budget and workload; and performs related material-handling and cleaning tasks. The position operates on a 9:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. tour, may require emergency reporting, and requires a valid D.C. or state driver’s license and a Powered Industrial Truck Operator certificate.
