Description
The Materials Management Specialist supports daily hospital materials operations by receiving, verifying, storing, replenishing, and distributing supplies and patient-care equipment. The role includes inventory monitoring, cycle counts, expiration-date checks, recordkeeping, supply-request response, and coordination with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and other departments. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in inventory control, materials management, receiving, distribution, or storeroom operations are required; healthcare experience and inventory-management-system experience are preferred.
