Description
AMD is seeking a Materials Manager, External Manufacturing Operations (Backend Engineering) to lead a team of engineers in supplier engagement with substrate manufacturers. This role involves driving key performance indicators such as NPI projects, Supplier Manufacturing readiness, excursion-free processes, enabling new capabilities, BCP, yield/process improvement, CIP's, and others. The ideal candidate will be a team player committed to meeting deadlines, capable of thriving in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment, and possessing strong cross-functional project management, conflict resolution, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
