Description
The Materials Manager oversees warehouse operations, inventory management, stock control, receiving, shipping, material handling, and inventory accuracy. The role develops warehouse systems, coordinates cross-functional projects, produces inventory reports, manages a multi-shift materials team, and leads continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates need five years of warehouse or inventory management experience, five years leading hourly teams or equivalent experience, a related university or college degree or equivalent education and experience, a high school diploma or GED, advanced Microsoft Office skills, strong communication and organizational abilities, and the ability to manage multi-shift staffing. Electronics industry inventory experience and APICS CPIM certification are preferred.
